6 weeks through 6th grade.
What happens in nw kids?
Word-Based Curriculum
Kids need different things at different ages, and we want to help your child understand and learn God's Word at the right pace. Each year, they'll grow by engaging in age-specific learning that is relevant and interesting to them.
Authentic Worship
We invite God's presence into our lives through praise and worship, and we want your children to grow up experiencing the joy and benefit of worshiping Him.
Making Friends
God designed us for community, and we want your kids to build healthy relationships with other kids their age. Making friends and growing alongside their peers is an important part of their spiritual growth.
Small Groups
We want your kids to look forward to seeing a familiar face at church each week. We hope they'll share, ask questions, and feel supported and cared for as they grow in their faith.
nursery
6weeks - 3 years
Your child will receive attentive, loving care from our well-staffed nursery team. Our rooms are equipped with age-appropriate toys, and we make it easy for you to share your child’s specific needs—feeding schedules, sleep routines, and diaper changes. Each week, our team lovingly prays over every child in our care.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Kids are welcome to bring their Bible! We use the Bible during small groups, and bringing one helps kids engage and follow along.
We also take a time for offering during each experience. This is a great opportunity for kids to begin learning about generosity and giving.
-
To help create a distraction-free environment, we ask that toys, electronics, screens, and stuffed animals stay at home. Don’t worry—we’ve got plenty of games, activities, and fun planned for your child during the experience!
-
NW Kids is fun, energetic, and engaging—but we also encourage kids to be respectful and kind to leaders and other kids. Parents, it helps when you talk with your child ahead of time about behavior expectations, similar to what’s expected at school.
-
Each month, nw kids focuses on a memory verse to help kids learn and hide God’s Word in their hearts. Ask your child what the verse is and practice it together at home—it’s a simple way to reinforce what they’re learning on Sundays.
-
Yes! Before each experience, we give a five-minute warning for kids to use the restroom and get a drink. We try to limit restroom breaks during the one-hour experience, but exceptions are always made when needed.
-
At the end of the experience, parents or guardians should bring their check-in barcode to the NW Kids leader at the bottom of the stairs. Your child’s name will be called, and they’ll be released to you. This helps us ensure every child is safe and accounted for—please avoid texting or calling your child for pickup.
-
Yes! NW Kids Special Needs provides a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for children with special needs. Our team would love to connect with you to learn how we can best support your child—just let us know when you check in or contact us ahead of time.
Child Dedication
Dedication is for parents to present their child before God and the church, agreeing to seek after His grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibilities. It's a commitment to raise your child to understand that they are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, to believe that the Bible is absolute Truth, and to know the importance of a community of faith through the local church.
